Let us show you 10 ways to get free images online! These images are either creative commons or royalty free, so you can use them without worries of copyright infringement. Even for commercial uses.
You didn’t expect this do you? Our best friend google has the feature to find images that are “labelled for reuse” and “labelled for reuse with modification”. Click on search tools after searching for your images at google image search and select the right usage rights to narrow the images to those that could be used for free. These images are free to use, you will have to take note if attribution is required for individual images though!

Fotopedia
Another search engine you could use that has a great collection of travel photos is fotopedia. Head on directly to http://www.fotopedia.com/search. Search for the image you require and narrow the search to commercial licences in the advance options on the right.
And there you have pretty photos of The Louvre!
Flickr
We did not forget the popular site for photographer! Flickr can be a great search tool if you are looking for photographs of people to use. Head on to https://www.flickr.com/search. Narrow your search by clicking on the right licenses after you conduct your search.
Pixabay
The quality of images on Pixabay varies. However, you can find really amazing photographs, clip arts and drawings here as well. Did we mention that all images here are free to us? Not just that, their FAQ (http://pixabay.com/en/service/faq/) mentioned that you could modify and use their images without attribution!

Here is another image search engine that you could you. However, we did not have much success with the images we were finding. Nevertheless, they do have pretty decent images that you could use.

This is a nice archive of images that were pre-sorted into different categories. While their search function may not return consistently relevant and pretty photos, their browsing features makes up for it.
Public Domain Pictures
The images here belong to the public domain. That means you can do whatever to it, without attribution. However, the results returned are not consistent. Nevertheless, give it a go!

Gratisography
Enough of images that were indexed and categorised! We believe in serendipity at Whitefables. Gratisography has a collection of photographs and images that are simply pretty. Even if you are not looking for a specific images, scrolling through the collection makes you happy.

Same concept with Gratisography, but the images here are updated more frequently. 10 new photos a day! Every photo here seemed to say a different story. Great repository of image to be used in slide decks that are designed to tell stories!

For those who loves vintage photographs, this is your heaven. They carry a wide range of vintage photographs that you could use. These photos are in the public domain and could be used and modified without attribution.
